SFI Certified Bellhousing blanket

Since no manufacter makes a easily obtainable scattershield or complete bulletproof bellhousing I opted to put on a certified blanket. I hope I never have to test this piece out but it is better than nothing. The fit is unbelievalby tight, expecially with long tube headers. I can't imaging putting one of these on with the engine in but it is supposed to be possible and not that bad. It attaches via hooks to the bellhousing using the existing bolts. With long tube headers and Cool Tape, it does burn a little but goes away. It has a kevlar lining and is supposed to stop a pressure plate or flywheel from taking your legs off. Hopefully we won't find out. I purchased this piece from Exotic Muscle Cars, as they are the only ones who have them and they are not easy to get from them as the guy who makes them apparently is not very cordial or speedy.
