Intake Grate Replacement   

This installation is to be performed at your own risk!!!!

 

         Here is a basic list of tools you will need:

        This is a very easy mod to do and it helps the ski to hook up better in the water by reducing cavitation.

    1.)    You may or may not have to heat up the bolts but it is better to be safe than sorry.  I use a torch that I bought from Home Depot.  You can see it in the pic below.    You want to remove four 10 mm bolts.  There are two different lengths.  Remember how the bolts come out.  The short ones go towards the stern side of the grate.

 

 

    2.)    Clean your bolt threads and replace with the new intake grate.  Use removable thread locker on the bolts.  The plates below are the Riva and stock plates.
