Kemah Launch North

        This launch is located on Highway 146 underneath the Kemah bridge.  From Houston you would take I-45 to NASA Road 1 and head East.  Go all the way to the end which is Hwy. 146 (around 8-9 miles) and take a right.  Go about 1/2 mile and veer to the right to go underneath the bridge.  This is a good launch if you want to go ride in Galveston Bay because the launch puts you almost right in the Bay.  There is also plenty to see and do at the Kemah Boardwalk.

       There are two ramps at this launch and are pretty good ramps for cars and trucks to launch at.  There is adequate parking under the bridge but it does fill up quickly in the high boating season.
