After MTI Dyno Tune Timeslips and Dyno Graphs

12.059 @ 112.50

Same launch with 60 degree weather.

I'm really trying to get into the 11's without touching the exhaust or cracking a valve cover.  I'm too close for comfort.  I went to MTI to get a tune sooner than I wanted to because I was so close.  I gained 21 hp so I know that would put me really close. The weather was warmer than the last runs and I seemed to spin a little off the line for some reason.  The track was definitely not prepped as well as the last time.

LGM Long Tubes, Random Tech Cats and Stingers

Track time 11.94@ 115.05

87 friggin' degrees

I installed my exhaust and have now had it tuned.  I pulled another ~25 HP from the exhaust!  That means I have achieved ~46 HP from just exhaust and tune!  LGM headers friggin' rock!  Tuning the A/F ratio netted another 9 HP in the midrange but didn't increase the max HP.  In any event, I am happy happy happy!

Track times were not that good because the temperature was 87 degrees!  I still ran a new best even with the temp!  I think if I had the same temps as previous test/tune runs I would be around 11.70.  My 60' was also suffering for some reason as well.  I was off a whole tenth.  All in all, my mph went up and my ETs went down big time with the exhaust install.  Can't wait for some cool weather!

Tonight was my first ever bracket race.  I got knocked out on my first run.  It figures that I raced someone that 700 runs logged in bracket racing.  He was off by 3 hundredths.  I dialed an 11.86 thinking I could give myself a cushion but it didn't work.  My reaction times are getting better though.
